I think all this shows that managerial influence is sometimes over-emphasised. Potter's stock is as low as it's ever been whereas Nuno is (rightly) considered to have done a sterling job with both Wolves and Forest yet there isn't much to choose between them on the evidence of West Ham's results. They really aren't a very good side and I think they will be in a relegation scrap.
