Playing players in their best positions often turns out to be effective. Who'd have thunk it?
Was enjoyable to watch, if a bit short on cutting edge, agree that with Alcaraz on the pitch we look more likely to score though.
Now the only thing is, with Tim suspended the temptation will be to move Garner back into midfield, presuming Keane is fit for Saturday.
Either way, I hope KDH and Alcaraz play the same roles from the start against Forest.

I know some people don't rate him because the manager doesn't pick him unless he absolutely has too, but there's no denying his impact. Things happen when he's on the pitch. It was no near Charly's best game last night, but we don't get 3 points without him. He played the ball to Jack for his goal. He played the ball through to Barry, when he was through and he unfortunately couldn't get it over the keeper. He chased their keeper down who was forced to kick out by the corner flag. He linked up really well with Tim and KDH. He lost possession a few times and gave away a couple of free kicks. And he could've made better decisions a couple of times. But the team is so much better with him in it. He just seems to be one of those players whose sheer presence just results in opportunities.
I know too much, it's freakin' me out
But there's gold under the rust
Figuring out just how to live
I'm so afraid you're finding me out
But there's something in the rough figuring out just how to live![]()
