It was a dangerous place to play a ball into space, but let's have it right... Keane had ample time to get to that ball ahead of any attacking player if he'd been on his toes.

I'm not really blaming either player for that misunderstanding, but it wasn't a poor ball, it was just a dodgy part of the pitch to play that sort of pass in.

I can see why it became a flash point.
