… my first game was palace.
I’ve not noticed any of the teething issues at all. My lot are in the south stand but couldn’t sit by them so thought I’d try club view.
As I’m on my own the tenner up more or less covers my spend in the ground. View is great. Having spent a lot of time in the park end and latterly the LB (close to GS) you see the game completely differently which has been great.
The stuff in the concourse is good. Music and ex players adds to the atmosphere though obviously a different experience to Goodison.
Concessions are decent enough. Don’t think you can get Guinness but in a stadium environment people who drink Guinness can do one in the way they can when someone orders 5 pints of it when the bar is two deep.
Downside is the atmosphere isn’t quite as good as other areas (that can be exacerbated by day trippers) and in retrospect I’d probably not bother with a programme. I like the stairs but can see why older people may struggle.
Overall, decent value I think.

I have to say that I'm not a huge fan of a "side view" - we're currently behind the goal in the South Stand but I have to say that I really liked the view I had from London Blue's seat at the last game - basically in the South East "corner" - you get a really good view of everything from there.

Mine (west upper) is a shade under £900, I think Club View was £1'100? Once you factor in the £10 f&b voucher it is on par.
