Yeah, this is the kind of stuff that gets stuck to my head until I do something about it. Which English club could field the best lineup of managers past and present? Most clubs have never had an ex-keeper as manager so had to leave that blank for them.
Let's start with the one I already posted:
Spurs ended up being less than I originally thought
(Oops, Hughton and Rowe should swap positions)
Nice lineup but not in this contest.
Chelsea has a better squad let down a bit by the defense. Had to dig deep for the other fullback (who incidentally also played for us).
Man City OTOH has a really strong team
Central defence their weakness but really strong midfield & good full-backs.
And finally Newcastle which has a ridiclously good English core plus Gullit and Ardiles. Had to leave Dalglish out because there's no space!
Couldn't really come up with a decent team for RS, Arsenal or ManU. Any other suggestions?
