I was in nappies when he played for us but I have heard he was a tricky winger and as hard as nails. Anyone here saw him play? Catterick played for Everton as well. No place in the line up for The Cat?

The task is to create an XI out of former managers. They need to have managed us in the Premier League for at least 2 games.

(And my bias towards the present means Howard Kendall and Colin Harvey are the management duo)

Not a bad XI (everyone in their correct positions). Solid defensively, would be very strong at set pieces, but a little disjointed given a technical and high quality central midfield and two target men up front.

Even the weak players (Walker, Moyes, Silva) had solid professional careers. And a few European cup winners (Koeman, Lampard, Ancelotti).

I don't think many current PL clubs could put out a stronger team!
