The programme reminds me a bit of Lionel Shriver's anti-woke novel, Mania. This envisages a world under the influence of the 'mental parity' movement which promotes kindness and empathy to the point at which it's no longer possible to regard anything or anyone as stupid or incompetent. It's initially funny, but it wears thin as the plot fizzles out.
One point about the programme - the central character (Kim from Better Called Saul) is fantastic.
