you want to bring a young strker (any new striker really) through wen the pressure is lower. Te dream scanrio is your striker is scoring you are winning games, and tere will be times when you are a coupke of goals up and the new guy gets a free hit. That dream i inlikely for a mid table team, but you want to be somewhere near it....we are a country mile from it. I fear near of them are good enough, (very early for Barry and Beto isnt without stregts) but it reaaly cant be helping, either the constant changing or the pressure.
Ive always thought both Owen and Fowler benefited hugely from this sort of settled introdution. Both came in wit low pressure (comparativly) and hit the ground running. I think with a striker that sort of intro echos though your career....and to an extent does the other way round.
