at Boundary St where it crosses the Northern Line (don't know how to upload here!!), which is the closest rail point to the ground, there is some housing, a supermarket and business units in each quadrant. You wouldn't want the homes to go, but you'd think the rest could be relocated to other nearby sites if the will was there; it's not like they are historically significant or unique or city centre land prices. Greater good & all that.
That wouldn't increase the capacity of the train line itself though, and this would have to be just part of wider measures to improve local transport links.

The fact there is no room for a station is likely part of the reason why one hasn't yet been built.
