Wembley has about 3 or 4 stations within walking distance and even when crowds are around the same as BMD, you still wait the same amount of time as I did at Sandhills.
If they can improve a bit more on a few extra trains in and out in various directions then that would massively help and actually make it a solid choice to get away.
Disabled access needs looking at for easier/closer parking options and or shuttles, as does access for those a bit more frail or unable to walk the distances.
Likewise the car traffic managment (especially around the CostCo junction on the edge of town and the bus lanes also need a bit more thought and development too but

A light railway floating on the side of the Mersey would be fantastic, like those one's you get at an airport between terminals just shuttling up and down the edge of the river between the stadium and town and out the other side north of the stadium but I imagine the cost of that would be absolutely eye watering!
The food and drink stuff mentioned in the article and the toilets etc seem to be a signposting, queue busting type problem that we can solve with some better education, information and signposting. People immediately head to the first things they see, so those will naturally be busier, but having a person there just redirecting people to other outlets/facilities will spread the load. Over time people who go regularly will figure this out but for one off events with crowds predominently made up of none regular users they just need a bit more guidance and info.
In our area of the stadium, first few games saw the same bottlenecks for toilets and refreshments, now its way more evenly spread where people have worked out where the rest of the facilities are and which ones are busier/quieter and we never have any problems getting food/drink/toilets etc.
