January could offer a big opportunity to get a player on loan that normally would be considered out of reach. A loan to a high profile league could be just the self promotion needed to get a bigger move in the summer. The club itself might not be that important, as long as the minutes are guaranteed. Which unfortunately i don't think you can guarantee any striker that with Moyes in his current mood

So that would rule us out.
It’s a shame. I agree with you, he’d be a fantastic addition.
But, no.
Champions League- nothing else.
The problem we had in the summer is that a lot of players turned us down.
We were seen as a risk.
It’s going to take a bit of time to turn that around.

Richarlison is either played out wide or a bit part striker for Spurs, hence his lower stats. Play him week in and out (injuries depending) and he'll be a double figures striker for us, without doubt.
Tony would never be a permanent signing for us, but a very good addition on loan until the end of the season as he seeks to land a place in Tuchel's World Cup squad and we seek to get more cutting edge up top. It's a no brainer as a short term gap filler. We'd figure something out re. wages.
Vlahovic is an excellent all-round striker who, despite not being the most prolific, would be able to bring our attackers into the game more, and they in turn would chip in with more goals.
Any of these three options would improve us enormously in the second half of this season.
That, and a couple of quality attacking full backs.
