…as a musician/writer I just think, jaysus, what’s the point any more…that App can produce music way better than I could…and the ability to pick and apply to any genre…Mr Dogs faux sonnet (very good btw) is also under AI threat too. It’s largely going to remove the artist from the art (and it is now) it’s all doable by typing a prompt into an AI tool.
Ah, the future is here, and the further extinction of the old dinosaurs continues

1. OK, I know NOTHING about music other than i listen
2. i've recently completed a Shakespearean sonnet, below. it is in the classic Elizabethan style. not for everyone, but indulge me…have a read first, please...
3. then listen to the links. it took me 2 minutes to paste the ‘lyrics’ and pick a style, of which i’ve chosen two simple ones – reggae and pop-rock
4. i will now proceed to entangle the entire area…

photos of ghosts
As Earth consumes the Sun, the shortest day
is shrouded, swathed in bolts of sable lace
until a winter moon of bloodless grey
makes silver what the night does not erase.
Too soon the dark! Too soon the blinding dark
when every soul confronts the great abyss
and all we leave behind, our feeble mark,
dissolves in umber tones. Such fleeting bliss.
But though the picture fades the mind retains
the moment, one more star against a night
defied by many stars; our lifetime’s gains
abide, recalled in brilliant flints of light.
‘Til Time conceals our clay beneath its sands,
within the heart a universe expands.
