But gotta say cry arsing about bags and umbrellas and bag searches and not being able to have a chat with the players is a new level. It’s a footy match not a virgin experience package

As i said below - 2 of our bags given blue tags(no reason as oo why), 3 or 4 others none.... no word of a bag drop... Went in past security at turnstile and then into stand... Pulled over in the stand (after a few of my party)and while i agreed to drop the bags out(for an easy life - BTW id have had no problem dropping them to a bag drop if i was told earlier).. i didnt realise before this that i would probably the only person frogmarched out and back by 2 stewards to the front gates (10 min walk)to the bag drop - with every other person in the ground not being questionaed or having to drop bags out at all. Only 8 bags 55 mins before the match in the bag drop too.. It was absolutely ridiculous and ruined the whole occaison - what were the blue tags for? so many questions to be answered regarding this Previous Message
I noticed further down some issues raised about bags etc
Going through the first wall entrance yesterday at about 15.45 we were directed through metal scanners which were going off every few seconds but no checks whatsoever being done.
Through the scanner there was a small security guard waving a scanning wand, again it was going off as people streamed past. It beeped for me (keys I presume) but I was wasn’t searched or even had my ticket checked.
The security process was a complete box ticking shambles. Given the time to exit from high up in the south stand, if there was an incident then god help us.
