Above criticism, no. He's being marked out of the game lately, as a team we are not adapting to that - we're already too reliant on him - and as an individual, his influence is waning. I don't see how that is particularly contentious.

it's like watching the same clip on repeat, he does his shuffling, stuttering run with two defenders in front of him, then has to lay it off, and the attack peters out. Occasionally he will be able to get through and maybe scrape a half chance for someone. Certainly doesn't look like scoring. Doesn't look like setting anything up. Not his fault completely but starting to see why he fell out of favour at City. For all his talent, he is a bit of a one-trick pony - though not having quality around him is certainly a limiting factor.

It could have been different, Grealish finds the net on that early chance and everything changes or the goal gets given.

Sunderland are flying, they have some decent attackers and very good keeper, but they give up opportunities, we just have to take some.
