Maybe I’m misremembering. My recollection was more that he had to wait his turn but then cemented the spot as his own from then on.

we spent 30 on Thierno and 40 on Dibling (who I like)
its not like we couldnt have spent 60 on Woltemade, we chose not to (whether he'd have come or not is another matter etc, but we were interested early summer)
Still feel we need to give Thierno a run to see what he has, but we'll see
Moyes made the point the other day that Baines, Pienaar and a few others arrived then had to wait to get their run in the side
