We look solid, disciplined out of possession, pose a little bit of a threat on the break (almost entirely through Ndiaye).
Ndiaye is a wonderful, wonderful player. As good as we’ve had out wide since Kanchelskis? Could do with him not playing quite so well in front of Guardiola because he’s considerably better than what City have.
Nothing we don’t know up top - our forwards are barely PL level, let alone the level needed at the upper end of the table. That said, it can’t be helping that we’re working to a revolving door with one playing one week / the other playing the next. I think Moyes has to make a decision and tell one they’re gonna have e.g. the next five games as his starter. Give them some confidence that they’ve got the opportunity and don’t need to ‘over try’ to impress.
I promised my kids I’d take them for waffles if we get even a point, today. Halfway there
They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time, it works every time.![]()
