With Grealish unavailable, and KDH always first choice centrally, you’re taking two of the following to play wide:

Ndiaye
McNeil
Alcaraz
Dibling

Ndiaye was the obvious piece to play on the left. So, where do you go from there?

There was never any way Dibling - hooked after 45 minutes against Palace - was starting at City.

I think the only other option would’ve been Ndiaye right / McNeil left - but McNeil’s been fucking terrible in every outing he’s had.

I doubt Moyes would want to start Alcaraz wide right - but it’s the least bad of the options available.
