are mostly shite While crossing can be a valid attacking strategy, the direct success rate of converting crosses into goals is relatively low. One study of the English Premier League suggests that, on average, only about 1 in 91 open play crosses leads to a goal.

They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time, it works every time.
