I still maintain the first one is the best, by quite a long chalk. Second is good but I didn't particularly care for the flitting between timelines and I found the drawn-out saga over whether or not Hyman Roth tried to have Michael killed a bit tiresome to be honest. But the development of the character from the slightly naive college kid of part 1 into a ruthless, cold-hearted killer is excellent.

3 is the weakest but I don't think as bad as some make out.

Anyway, sad news. Fantastic actress.
