…the book and was really surprised when it was announced (in the old Photoplay move mag, I was a subscriber in my mid teens) that she’d been cast.
A wonderful comic actress, who could also do the serious stuff.

mentioned her role in Looking For Mr. Goodbar. I think it was her best ever performance and if I remember correctly, introduced a young Richard Gere. She was great in Annie Hall too of course but the rest of her movies were flimsy stuff.
