Yes, but.....
At the moment the PL is way ahead in terms of global profile. If they just allow Spain and Italy ti build their fanbase globally, do they risk losing out on shitloads of revenue?
I wouldn't be against a game a season being played abroad. But then I am not a local fan who has been to every home game for decades.
