might have been the WC of 22 or the Euros the year before, anyway his response when Southgate apologised for it was "gaffer, I'm not bothered, we won the game". I was struck by how unusual a response that was from a player of his standing. I'm sure he loves being the main man in the team and getting the recognition he deserves but it doesn't seem to be ego-driven, he just loves playing the game.

Starting to make notice on what’s happening in other media outlets- not the usual.

We are picking up an awful lot of positive feedback and input too.

I struggle with anything IT / linking stuff that on the web, but Tim Sherwood did a recent interview with Grealish. On YouTube. Very complementary about us, Moyes and Grealish. Getting lots of views.

Also interesting what Adam Wharton said yesterday…”... Since joining Everton, Grealish has really improved…”.

PS think Beto was (on purpose) meant to be starting after 45 mins because we thought Palace would pile start to tire. Expect him to start against City.
