...we just need to keep it in mind when things don't go well - there will be massive ups and downs, and I'm sure this place would be entirely different if we'd lost yesterday (as could have easily happened).
Disappointed that it's the international break now as that would give us some momentum - hopefully Branthwaite and Merlin will be closer to returning for the next game though.

Left and Right Back as well as in the middle and I think he's been excellent but I think KDH just edges him in terms of looking like he's going to make something happen or being involved in something.
Might be a little unfair on Garner, but I'd have KDH just ahead of him, then Keane then Grealish.
Might sound harsh on Jack but he's a £100m player, he should be doing that week in week out (and he is and I'm buzing and I love him playing for Everton)
It's lovely that we are here talking about who has been our best players and it's been difficult to pick with a number of players all possibly having a valid care. We haven't even mentioned Pickford, who has been his usual quality self and Ndiaye has a few goals playing in unfamiliar position.
It's nice to be buzzing about the team, club, stadium etc again and even though we will have hiccups (Wolves especially) Personally, I haven't felt this way about Everton since I was a lot, lot younger and it's great to be back in love with football again.

...particularly about Keane being our best defender (and sometimes our best attacker!)
Other than the obvious choice of Grealish I'd probably have Garner just ahead of Keane and KDH as our best player this season (although we thought he was a bit off it yesterday and a bit negative - even though he put in great crosses for Barry and O'Brien and his push was the catalyst to get the crowd up!) so I would be reluctant to be putting him at RB as so many are suggesting as I don't want to lose him from that midfield. Maybe switch him in as a replacement for Gana who hasn't been great this season (RS goal aside of course!) -it will probably depend on Keane's injury, but it's very telling that Moyes saw Garner as the best choice at RB despite having 2 RBs on the bench.
Alcaraz was clearly the main catalyst for yesterday's win - I am still unconvinced by Iroegbunam (although obviously his efforts got the penalty, I think that the worst reffing decision yesterday was possibly not booking him after his "air header" and pull back on ther player - ref was woeful for both sides!) and I still don't think there's an awful lot to chose between Beto and Barry (who obviously should have scored yesterday but who we didn't think was as bad as others are saying - neither are outstanding so it's horses for courses and hope I think!)
We were extremely lucky to get the win, and arguably didn't even deserve the draw when you look at Pickford's saves, goal-line clearances and their bad finishing but as you've said - we've deserved more from other games.
I'm still content with where we're at, we'll have ups and downs, and I still think it's a "consolidation" season, but some more moments like those limbs at the end will do me fine - sounded amazing in that stadium, which feels more like home every game - and that feeling will only increase with days like yesterday

First proper "moment" in the new stadium with the late winner. The noise from after the Garner incident was brilliant and hopefully the team can get the crowd riled up earlier in games going forward. It's phenomenal when the noise gets up.
Referee, shite again - the standards in the Premier League are absolutely abysml, the players don't help with all their falling over for no reason and shite but even where the ref hasn't been conned, simple decisions around tackles, technical stuff like dealing with wall distances and clear dissent is just tragic, I thought Hooper was bad, but the ref yesterday was a whole new level of poor. It says something when both sets of fans think the ref is terrible.
Palace were very good first half, well organised, sharp on the break, a bit like the Brighton game if they take their chances, they win comfortably but a mixture of good saves from Pickford and poor finishing from them meant we stayed in the game.
Alcaraz was a breath of fresh air actually driving forward and adding a quickness to our play that's been missing over past few weeks.
It was also good to see Grealish start to run at and past some players, Munoz is a decent player (albeit his strength is going forward) but he couldn't handle Jack. Jack also had a couple of shots yesterday, they were tame in the end but at least he's thinking about having a pop, where he has looked reluctant to in other games.
On balance we probably didnt deserve the win, but we also should have beaten both Villa and West Ham so we'll take it.
Another word for Michael Keane as well, very good again up to having to go off, the international break may have come at a good time for us, hopefully its nothing serious as he's been our best defender. The extra weeks will also hopefully get Grealish fully fit, allow Ndiaye to shake off whatever niggle he is carrying and bring Branthwaite closer to being back.
Throw back in the missing KDH yesterday (our best player so far this season) and its positivity all round from my end.
Stadium was bouncing at the end, and the train back to London a pleasure amongst the gutted Palace fans.
