Got a bit messy for the first time yesterday when they let the Southport queue up to the platform before the Ormskirk train had departed but generally it works ok. The queue for trains into town uses the footbridge but the queue goes faster as the trains coming in are empty and they are all going to Central. I’m finding we’re getting back to Crosby about 15 -20 mins later than we used to from Goodison.

the buses couldn’t get past the Costco junction due to heavy traffic coming down Leeds Street going to Costco.

...as the place we had booked (Love Lane Car Park via Your Parking Space - have used it several times before) was full and clearly overbooked by the time we got there so we had to park over the road and pay £10.

I've got the same place booked for the Spurs game, so I'm probably going to look at other options - might look at the legit car parks in town and getting the shuttle bus as that worked fine for Mansfield. More expensive, and a bit more effort but I prefer "reliable and stress-free" over everything else personally!

I'd say that your best bet is to look on JustPark or MyParkingSpace for people's drives - I use them for gigs all the time and they tend to be more reliable/legit than the big "open wasteground" car parks like Love Lane.

Im taking my daughters and the wife to the Womens game at the new ground on Sunday, and before I choose my usual spots (as Im not as bothered about walking) I wondered if there was any real close options I could look at (less than 15 min walk)

Im tempted by Sandhills parking, a few reviews say its unaccesible 2 hours before a game due to road closures, but maybe they wont close the road for a game with a lower attendance ?

Any help would be massively appreciated
