We were not good against WHU and poor against Leeds. And this was a Palace team who played away in Europe on Thursday and it showed in the second period. Yet for Mateta missing two sitters they would have won.
I can understand attacking play not working, as it's been rebuilt. Takes time to gel. But Gana and Garner have played dozens of matches together and yet our midfield looks like a void when opponents break. Previous MessagePrevious Message
Today he played with conviction, took on players and made things happen. On another day he just keeps giving the ball away cheaply and gets frustrated.
But I'm starting to think if it's Gana who should be dropped, just to try it out. His passing has been poor this season and we are way too exposed in the middle. Is he the reason? Probably not, at least not alone but Moyes needs to do something. Previous Message
