The decisions themselves get the headlines. When is scrutiny going to come over the time taken?
They are chasing 100% perfection on decision making and that should not be the end goal. We never got annoyed about marginal decisions before and now we have to sit through this crap.

The problem then is you're re-refereeing the game.
The focus needs to be on improving refereeing standards and being less reliant on technology.
Oh, and VAR review to be played at full speed from two angles, max. No slo-mo, no freeze frame. No var chirping in the refs ear what the VAR thinks they've seen.
