But I wouldnt sack him, assuming the CEO and winners give a shit about winning and what the fans want, tell him he got that wrong, and if he wants to keep his job he makes cups a priority in future. Otherwise, we are now looking for a manager....available, an upgrade on Moyes and a track record of respecting cups...an even bigger ask.

to the travelling Everton fans, who had spent their precious time and money to travel to Wolverhampton to support the team, only to find that the 1st team were not playing.
The supporters were up for it but he wasn't, should be sacked just for that, totally out of order.

...one poor result is all it takes these days.
Two weeks ago the Wrexham podcast had a discussion on whether Phil Parkinson should be sacked. That's Phil Parkinson who had steered them to three successive promotions then lost two matches cos 90% of his new signings were out injured for a few weeks.
Those players come back, he wins two matches, and it all goes away (until the next time they lose a match).
Managers probably understand that one defeat is all it takes for the frothing these days.

and even here there has been at least one serious Moyes out and several said they would look replace at the end of the season.
And Im not just talking about what has been said so far....its the inevitable ratcheting up if we have a poor run.

Fans saying Moyes has dropped a bollock or three over the last few weeks are allowed to do so, surely? It doesn't mean they're looking to pitch fork him out the club.
You're creating a straw man.

Said about 35% of transfer's are a success, im not sure if he meant in the first year or overall.
But that got me thinking I wonder what percentage of managers? The average tenure is 1.4 seasons, 67% end up sacked.
As well as thinking he is a very good manager, thats a big reason why the whispers of Moyes out whispers scare me.
Its one thing to replace a manager who is out of his depth or shit, I dont think even his fiercest critics think that of him.
So when the restless, impatient fans do eventually win, getting an upgrade on Moyes will very much be against the odds, that isnt my opinion, its just a stone cold fact.
