At least for girls. Have a daughter who just finished all girls high school and another who just finished college and its probably between 10 and 20% for girls. Both daughters did theatre and there were loads of they/them noted in the programme profiles. Definitely not rare in their age group.

.....its a subject that I find really hard to get my head around and sadly the extremists on both sides make it a very unpleasant debate.
