The People's Forum: I loved the book and hated the Running Man film, so I'm delighted that...

...Edgar Wright (one of my favourite directors) has made a new version that is much more true to the book rather than the "American Gladiators on acid" Arnie vehicle that the first film was (although I doubt they will feel able to manage the finale given events in the intervening years! No spoilers though!)

It's out on November 7th in the UK and I can't wait.

I read them all in that series, the running man was also brilliant and much better than the film. Loved all 4 of the books in the collection because although they were horror, they were more critiques about society rather than traditional horror.
