without going into too much detail from last october I was suffering from what i believed ot be gout. I styled it out but some days I couldnt walk at all. days went to months and in april I had to change doctor.
i did bloods.
the next morning i was informed to get to the royal immediatley. turns out i had been walking roud with blood clots for 6-8 months. the inflamation was bad enough that i was suffering from vsculitis my legs and feet were dark brown soon to go black- once that happes you lose them. they were worriedi had sepsis as well. since april i have been getting treated at the royal. i am now able to walk and today was a massive day fo rme.

i was close to dying and it focuses the mind a lot.
todays session was baby weights but i loved every second of it. i am genuinely very lucky to still be live and eternally grateful for the extensive treatment i was given in SDEC which saved my life and sorted me out.
one thing i was told is that once you hit 40 most en lose muscle mass as a qucik rate. i largely because of test injections ad years of training was carrying and i quote 'an elite level athletes lean tissue'. there words not mine.
without that my body would likely have shut down.
I had a CrP level of 128. normal is 0.1 to 5.0

was to do resistance training and I basically weaselled out of it with an excuse.
Anyway, a week later I admitted to myself that I was talking bollocks and started it. Now 3 months on it's the best thing I've done and I'm loving it, rediscovered my old gains via muscle memory and just invested a significant amount of money into a home gym. Lifting 3 times a week, progressive overload.
I'm 65 pounds down now, with pretty minimal muscle loss - maybe even some gains - and honestly, it's been so valuable to me to start it and it was your comment that really made me think that the fuck are you doing you dick, get on the weights. So thanks!! Previous Message

First half Beto was flagged offside running after a ball going towards the corner flag….but he was miles away from the ball.
Isn’t/wasn’t offside only given on touching the ball? (or am I out of touch on that too!)
