in their wisdom they decided to to track upgrades on consecutive Fridays and Saturdays, with replacement bus services that take twice as long as the trains would do, so that's thrown out that route up, leaving going via Birmingham as the quickest - which does mean going on trains on the way back that'll be full of Villa fans, if they wen't already usually busy enough!
