I am sorry to say I found it really hard to empathise with them.
Tommy Johnson was on 8k a week when the average was was 15k a year. So every year effectively earning a lifetimes worth for the average man.
As I saw it they toook advantage of a loop hole to get 400k back on a 100k investment. It would be obvious to anybody that once this was highlighted it would be closed down. But Rod Wallace seemingly did it 3 more times and spent the money knowing it could be claimed back.
You had Short and Murphy pleading how hard done they were while sitting in lovely homes with 20k watches on.
Murphy 'having to get the train to London' from ingswood (average house price 1.2m) admitting he had gambled and snorted a lot of his money away too. What about the people so poor they have nothing to gamble and are avoiding their dealer for 100 quid on tick and will get pasted if its not paid.
Sorry nurses struggling I feel for. People who are too ill to work and living hand to mouth I feel for. Anyone doing their best and getting bent over by the system I feel for.
Milllionaires looking to add to their millions in risky investment. Less so. Significantly less so.
Over to the floor- if I've got it wrong please feel free to show me the error of my ways.
