he seems the kind of player who could play at his current level until mid thirties as he's not going to lose any pace.
Also if he chips in with 8 or 9 goals that's huge.

As others have said, Moyes clearly likes him.
Scores goals. Good influence. Decent fitness record. Shouldn’t impact the development of Harrison, if anything he probably learn from him.
Not the fastest, but appears to have good football intelligence / use experience well.

if its close to 20m, then really you may as well have kept Doucoure for 2 more years, to do the same job for cheaper
Cant imagine him starting many games, doesnt seem to be who we want, based on apparently wanting a holding midfielder.
Flip side, moyes knows him, trusts him, and he's a solid if unspectacular player.
They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time, it works every time.
