Seriously though I noticed on a few corners that unlike Goodison there’s no steep embankment for players to deal with before striking the ball. I know some ex players have said it did make corners more difficult to take. (Why our players would find it more difficult than opposition, I’m not so sure…)

But that’s one little excuse that we’ve left behind, perhaps.

Maybe once we deal with the shadows and angles as well we can have real home team advantage!
