I do not really understand the whole beef with Bobble. So, he charges for access. So what? Everton charge £6.50 for a doughnut. The modern world is expensive but we all have choice on truly inessential items. Nobody forces any of us to buy either.

I do have an issue with employees of EFC leaking information they are not authorised to do and the club should come down hard on them when they find them but that is a different issue.

Bobble is just a guy who has cultivated pretty reliable contacts well beyond EFC and who makes a living off it in a far less sensationalist way than many YouTubers and influencers. With hindsight maybe he made the wrong call on the Branthwaite injury but his report was not why we lost to Leeds.

Personally I choose not to pay him. My choice. To paraphrase a Tori Amos song, just because I choose not to pay it doesn’t make me Jesus. So, can we park the point scoring on all sides and leave that for the Musk mess?
