It’s a fucking shame that the flag has all these negative connotations (given to it by a group of people who probably don’t know where St George was born, or that the name George only became popular in this country after the German monarchs named George came in, isn’t multiculturalism awful) and I hope one today it can be reclaimed.

long motorway journey today and can't help but notice the number of St. George's flags hanging off bridges. It seems a lot of people are under the impression that "they" have said you're not allowed to fly it because it offends people.
