in reality replacing so many players in one transfer window, was always a mammoth task - regardless of who is making the final decision.
I think if anyone expected a Chelsea type splurge where we bought 10+ players, then they needed their bumps feeling.
Surely this was always going to be a longer-term build - we should reasonably expect ‘new Everton’ to have a decent tilt at the Top 10 next season, but from where we’ve been and the lack of quality and depth we currently have, what are people really expecting this season?
That said, we’re definitely short of 2 first team/squad players at the minimum - but maybe we won’t be by the Villa game?

We have no idea if that is the case. Previous Message

Feel free to debate the merits or whatever of how EFC have decided to structure themselves (it’s an interesting discussion - no right or wrong answers and time will tell if it works), but unless the ‘one bloke online’ you’re referring to is Angus Kinnear, you’re shouting at the ether. One bloke online says something about committee meetings and that's the story of this window. Very 2025 I suppose. Previous Message
not having frigging committee meetings. Previous Message
Last season about what a massive squad rebuild we had and how hard that would be....what did you think that meant?
