Cant remember where I read it, but the only related gossip I saw was that the club (presumably the panel) wanted to get away from our over reliance on loans.

Fine if your summer transfer activity goes to plan, with 2 weeks to go I think its pragmatism time again and we really need to make the most of our loan slots with Premier League players.

I was quite pleased with Thelwells work during difficult times, but now we have apparently a “recruitment panel” in disagreement. That’s according to Onlooker.
Do we know more about those disagreements? Any substance to it? There’s been several changes in our set up, so maybe there’s a chance the lack of signings is not only down to players not wanting to come?
Yesterday showed we need players in fast, but the performance won’t attract many unless they see it as an easy opportunity to start in a first eleven.
