You given me the same warning for posts I've made that were no worse than many posts on here since you've been admin. I even got a veiled warning from another admin a few years ago because I posted a suggestion about a book I thought some members might like. I was told it could be construed as advertising. ...is absolutely not the same as calling for something to happen! You've just inferred that and tried to use it to defend your mate when he has acted in an absolutely reprehensible manner in a point-scoring response to someone sharing some bad news on here, and yet still hasn't acknowledged, explained or apologised for it, just doubled-down and got into another argument/set of arguments with other posters on here.
That's what's happening - not your made-up version of things.

It was an absolutely needless & mean spirited intervention, but I'll leave it up so people can see it for themselves and would strongly advise you to think hard before posting something similar again.
Remember not everyone is as lucky to be as such a robust an alpha as you. So whilst peace, love and harmony is not something we can expect, it'd be great if you could just bite your fucking lip rather than go in two footed when someone doesn't meet up to your 'standards'.
