Obviously he had to sell players he might not have wanted to but otherwise seemed he just got handed the keys. Is it like that now ? Or is Kinnear and his team chiming in. Previous Message
Moyes is a control freak. You can never stop all leaks because there are too many sources (Benj is right about that) but there is a clear flow of information to Bobble from inside the club that Moyes will not tolerate.
He will also remind players to be careful what they share with agents, family, friends but as in life some will just be natural gossipers.
It sounds like it will be an uncomfortable period for a lot of people. If a properly conducted internal investigation sees one or two heads roll within and around Everton it probably scares others into being more circumspect, at least for now. That would reduce Bobble’s value in his currently mutual relationships with several journalists that cover us. Even if he retains value they will cut him out if Moyes leans on them.
If Bobble is smart he will try to meet Moyes, agree some ground rules and effectively become more of a sanctioned mouthpiece with consequently less freedom. Otherwise he might find himself becoming progressively less relevant. Previous Message
....by a few minutes.
That's not players or agents. That's intentional, and high up. Previous Message
Saying it’s not an insider from the club suggesting the info comes from players taking to each other, agents etc. Previous Message
David Moyes confirms Jarrad Branthwaite is injured and he says: ‘I wouldn’t say how long he is out for but I’m sure the “club insider” will. I’m unhappy with it. We will find out who it is. I don’t like that information is coming from within our building.”
