I dont think all advertising is a waste of money really, but lots of it is shit and like you say badly targeted.

expect the ads to be directed at an audience that's a bit older than 10 years old? I'm sick to death of animated movies that I hope are made for children, movies like Sonic the fucking hedgehog and those moronic superhero movies. Give me the days when there was only Superman and Batman, the thinking child's heroes.
