They don’t actually care what people say but it drives views and clicks and visits and therefore revenue if they get engagement, good or bad.

They just seen to get absolutely pelted in the comments for predicting certain teams to do well or not well
And then at the end of the season get absolutely pelted again because they didn’t get many correct
Despite the fact that it is a near impossibility to predict 1-20 correctly and absolutely nobody could do it
And given that it’s such an impossibility, what is the actual point of doing this exercise? You could just preview each team and leave it with “I’d expect them to challenge for Europe” instead of saying “I think they will finish 7th and this other team who are just like them will be 8th just because” Previous Message
