I recall years back bumping into a group of them at Crewe Station- they called themselves the MRA- Masfield Republican Army- but were singing 'no surrender'.

I asked them how they intended to achieve a republic while supporting a monarch. Needless to say my comment went down like a fire in an orphanage and mudch bouncing up and down bedecked in stone island occurred. Nothing happened until the boarded the train to derby I think and then they were holding each other back to get off the train. That was one line they for once in their lives didnt cross!
