I used to get the team news quite regularly on a Friday from the same mate who went to school with someone on the coaching side (now gone, hence my source drying up).
If I was getting it you can bet it was fairly common knowledge within the club & going far & wide, so if Bobble knows a few different people inside the club I’d imagine he gets bits & bobs on all sorts regularly ?

This news didn't even come from the club. They were told by a player from another club. Because footballers all talk to each other.

It's like when they used to announce the team news 10-15 mins before the arbitrary pl deadline, when opposition managers had know the lineup for an hour or more. But fans get pissy about it being a leak. Just because plebs like us don't know something, doesn't mean everyone within the industry doesn't know it.
