What if a club want to sell a player, two clubs bid, one bids 5 million the other 10,but the player is insistent he want to go to the club offering 5, no way he wants the other club. How does that get resolved? Is it just that the club with the lower offer has do the 'right' thing and up its offer?
I suppose Im asking whats to stop a player speaking to a potential buyer and saying put in a low bid and ill refuse to go anywhere else? Is it just that that would be an areseholes trick so nobody does, or is there something else stopping them? Previous Message
...potentially an avenue for them that they refuse to pay his contract / cancel it but hold on to his player registration or play silly buggers in releasing it ie send the signed release by fax!....that way no one else can register him.
I'm sure that loophole would have been closed. Previous Message
He's basically said he won't play for Newcastle again.
Is their any way they can stop paying him because of his refusal to play, but NOT cancel his contract so he's basically sitting there pulling his plonker every day until his deal expires?
It would be rather amusing.
