Dele was a desperate throw of the dice on a player who had completely gone mentally. Drenthe had never done anything consistently when we signed him.

They were all pretty desperate punts, really.

Grealish doesn't belong in the same category - it's a bit of a risk but a calculated one that has a good chance of paying off.
