Is it just a couple of million though? By the time you factor in the 'add ons' and sell on clauses? We don't know the finer points and as is the case with many deals like this, the devil is often in the detail

could just be brinkmanship on our part. Since it seems clear he's not got a future with them, we just bide our time and wait for them to come round to our valuation. We could get gazumped of course but as far as I can tell, there are no other interested parties at this stage which is maybe a tad surprising. Perhaps paying £50m-ish for a 19-year-old is regarded as too risky.
