Not to say that’s a bad thing for Man City as a team, but Grealish can’t flourish.
And besides, goals/assist stats only tell half the story. A player could be the linchpin of the team, unlocking the opposition constantly, playing the key pass before the simple assist, causing defenders to think twice and make mistakes, forcing set pieces to score from. You don’t get any stat credit for them but they make your team score.
Grealish is a cut above most players we’ve had in midfield in the last 30 years and could transform us. No brainer! Previous Message
Seems to be 50/50 on here re Grealish.
I want him.
He would transform how we play especially with KDH.
His goals and assists are questioned by some but that's mainly due to City wanting 100 passes every attack. We would be more clinical and get the ball forward more opening opportunities. At present we are too slow alleging teams to regroup.
I see Grealish and KDH working together in tandem with Ndiaye which will greatly increase our goal threat.
KDH corners re Roma were on the money. Grealish will win numerous free kicks and give us a real advantage with Taks, Jarrad and O'Brien feasting on quality delivery.
Hopefully this comes off. I never thought we would get Lukaku but we did. Once Everton has touched you ...
He would be an instant fans favourite and ignite the club. He would improve those around him and be a beacon for others.
Dare we dream we snaffle him and Dibbling?
Get it done.
