I'm only half joking. But we do need reinforcements in the striker department.
Barry looks good in patches but needs to work on his game and put on muscle in the gym.
I think we all agree Chermiti needs to go out on loan....to Southampton as part of the Dibling deal?
And then there is Beto. I've always believed that Moyes has never really rated Beto and the fact that he played Barry today in what looked like the lineup for the game against Leeds may suggest he sending a message to both the player and the club.
So what striking options are out there?
Do we have 50m in our budget to tempt Niclas Jackson? Would he even come?
Would Hojlund be a good move considering he's been a flop at Utd.
Can we try for Richarlison who can play both striker and on the right?
Should we even try to attempt a compromise with DCL and tempt him back with new terms?
Or should we try to get Jaimie Vardy on a six month contract that would take us until the end of the January transfer when hopefully our coaching department have identified someone new.
You can scoff all you want but Jaimie Vardy is still a better striker in his late 30s than Beto is in his late 20s and his record backs it up. Surely with assistance from Ndaiye, Dewbs and maybe Grealish and Dibling he will have more opportunies to score than he did at relegated Leicester?
