I thought we had pretty much agreed a price but the issue was how much of that is add ons and whether there’s a sell on fee.
In which case it isn’t really about holding out for the price they’ve set, it’s securing the best deal for the club.
“His price is £45m + £5m in add ons and a 25% sell on fee” is not a clear line in the sand.
Which seems to imply he’s posturing and just trying to cover his arse before both sides give a little and get a deal done. Previous Message
